Feed the People began in the midst of a stay-at-home order due to COVID-19, by two girls who were determined to help.

One Saturday afternoon, their dad came home and told them of the growing population of homeless in downtown Dallas. Rather than ignoring them, they decided to make 100 peanut butter and jellies to drop off downtown on Sunday, along with a few cases of water. They had such fun, that they continued week after week.

A quick post to Facebook and Instagram later, the girls then had their entire community behind them. With such great support, they vowed to continue on, and they are now well on their way to forming a non-profit.
